Just how much money is involved in a Marion County Commissioner primary?

Well, here’s the campaign finance figures from the last Republican commissioner primary race, which was held back on 03/19/2024. I’d show the numbers for the Dems, but they didn’t run a candidate that year (or this year).

The top three contributors for each candidate were as follows:

Andy Appelfeller: 1) Josh Daniels-$250.00; 2) Jennifer Croskey-$150.00; and 3) Daniel Burkhart-$100.00

Tim Mooney: None (self-funded campaign)

Kevin Davidson: 1) Brian Lovell-$550.00; 2) Gene & Sandy Strine-$200.00; and 3) Bill Johnston-$150.00

Kerr Murray: 1) Jennifer Croskey-$150.00; 2) Lawrence Babich-$100.00; and 3) Daniel Burkhart-$100.00.
